- Blue Lock: Episode Nagi
This was one of those days that when I left the cinema, I felt so happy that anime is on the big screen. This show delivers visually, without question. I think what I appreciated most was the fact that they wrote a storyline that was weaved all around season one. In my opinion, it shows how confident the filmmakers were in using a cannon story rather than a blockbuster, high-stakes, non-cannon plot. Now I must say - I love blockbuster non-cannon plot for cinematic release and thrills! However, it was refreshing to watch a film that had a balance between showing how something happened and what happened. Anime fans will have alot of positive feelings towards this film. Wow factor for the big screen and engaging story telling. Have a look at my immediate reaction to the film?

- Terminator Zero Spoiler Free Mid Season Review
I'm on episode 5 of this anime and I love it so far. After seeing the trailer I was immediately invested as I am a big Terminator fan. Plot This anime has a solid plot. It is similar to previous Terminator movies and it differentiates itself by mixing perspectives from several important characters. Be prepared for dystopian worlds and cityscapes of peace and terror! Animation The animation is beautiful and reminds me of Cyberpunk Edgerunners. What I love the most is how they uses vivid colours for the shadows. Let me know if you recognise too. - The Age of Anime Theory
This is not an exact science and I'm still strengthening my theory, but here goes. Theory - During 2026 - 2039 (and beyond) more anime will be adapted for high-quality live action movies. Trends in Film I believe that in film (and sometimes television), there are ever-changing trends in terms of what is most popular over 5 - 15 year periods. A few examples are the late 80s - early 2000s when Terminator, Alien, Predator, The Matrix graced our screens. Periods which fantasy books were adapted to make legendary films like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. There are franchises like Maze Runner and The Hunger Games. Sc-Fi epics such as The Transformers, Inception, Godzilla, King Kong and we will definitely not forget the era of the Marvel universe and DC's effort to join them in superhero territory. Digital Anime/Manga fans have always occupied the digital space and as the internet and technology develops, the world is recognising how popular the genre is. Material for Adaptation The few films mentioned have been adapted form a mixture of books, comics, games, and previous films. Manga and Anime will soon get its focus on the big screen Check out the discussion on our YouTube!
